ACHD & Project KOPEG Recycle Cell Phones and Donate Over $2700 to the Idaho
Veterans Assistance League
The Ada County Highway District recently upgraded their cellular phone service
which left them with a pile of electronic waste to dispose of. They contacted
Project KOPEG, a Boise company that recycles cell phones, ink cartridges,
computers and other e-waste to benefit charities, schools and other non-profits.
Recycling the cell phones netted over $2700 which they donated to the Idaho
Veterans Assistance League.
“Project KOPEG made it easy to accomplish two very rewarding actions; we ensured
that harmful materials were kept out of our environment and were able to
designate the proceeds to a very worthy organization, the Idaho Veterans
Assistance League”, says Dennis Alloway of the Ada County Highway District.

League or other charities by recycling cell phones and other e-waste visit
